Abstract本書是作者三十多年來學習準確地理解五位當代法國現象學家、或與現象學關係密切的哲學家重要論說的記錄。全書自胡塞爾始，以沙特、梅洛龐蒂、傅柯、德里達與列維納斯為經，超越論、圖像意識現象學、肉身主體現象學、存在論、友情詮釋論、他者的哲學等為緯，交織出作為現象學的哲學運動在法國發展的蹤跡。
This book is the record of the author's effort to understand correctly important doctrines of five contemporary French phenomenologists or philosophers closely related to phenomenology during the past three decades. Starting from their relation to Husserl, this book discusses Sartre, Merleau-Ponty, Foucault, Derrida and Levinas through the themes of transcendental phenomenology, phenomenology of imagination, phenomenology of the body-subject, ontology of the flesh, hermeneutics of friendship, philosophy of the Other, etc.These two axis of reading interweave to draw out the traces of development of phenomenology as a vibrant philosophical movement in France.
