AbstractChina launched the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013 to promote economic co-operation with countries along its proposed routes. One of the unavoidable byproducts of the Initiative, however, is an increase of legal disputes. To provide a sound dispute resolution mechanism, China established the China International Commercial Court in 2018.
