摘要Public relations practitioners are facing a time when the spaces of media, organizations, and publics converge. Converged spaces, collapsing contexts, networked communication, and on- and offline relationships present challenges
to practicing public relations. On social media, publishing a post requires not only technological know-how but also a sense of the Internet culture and participatory publics. Traditionally, public relations is seen as a professional practice carried out by practitioners within organizations. The new mode of information dissemination and organization–public relationship, although being widely acknowledged, has not received much attention in public relations literature, as Public Relations and Participatory Culture suggests.
