AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to dissect key issues and possible debates involving the reading of Hong Kong literature through digital humanities. This paper would first explore the contours of Hong Kong literature after the handover, i.e. published from 1997 to 2017, as a field, touching upon fundamental issues related to the field's dimension in terms of a quantitative study of the bibliography of over 1,000 titles through the concepts of corpus, archive and canon, and thus to its structure and epistemology.
