摘要Objective:
To evaluate whether the profiles of bacteria (microbiomes) in endometrial fluid reflect those in the endometrial biopsied tissue of patients indicated for in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) treatment.
Background:
IVF-ET patients with endometrial fluid not dominated by Lactobacillus are associated with significantly lower implantation rate (61% vs 23%), pregnancy rate (71% vs 33%), ongoing pregnancy rate (59% vs 13%) and live birth rate (59% vs 7%) [1]. However, there is a lack of systematic comparison between microbiota in fluid and those in tissue.
