Hierarchically porous MoS2/CoAl-LDH/HCF with synergistic adsorption-photocatalytic performance under visible light irradiation

摘要Herein, a green and biotemplated approach was developed for fabricating 3D hierarchic heterojunction photocatalysts assembled from interlinked MoS2/CoAl-LDH (CoAl-layered double hydroxide) @carbon micron fiber. The uniform growth of MoS2 and CoAl-LDH nanosheets on carbon substrates was achieved through a three-step process involving carbonization of kapok fiber, precursor immersion, and nanosheets assemble by hydrothermal treatment. The heterojunctions had a fascinating hierarchically porous morphology with high surface area, tunable band gaps, and thus exhibited exceptional synergistic adsorption-photocatalytic activity in visible-light degradation of Congo Red (CR).
