AbstractIn this chapter, we will offer a full picture of the most recent developments of the Chinese mathematics curriculum reform, including its background, goal, implementation and debates that arose. Factors leading to the success of curriculum reform will be discussed. They include political and economic factor, examination culture, social participation, textbook development and teacher preparation.
