AbstractHealthy aging, as the ultimate preventative medicine, includes high cognitive function and physical condition. In the ear of big data, a critical issue in geroscience will be lead by detecting the impending biomarkers of aging. Intra-individual variability (IIV) represents the facet of within-person variance as a measure of short-term fluctuations. IIV, as a promising phenotype of healthy aging, also contributes to the age-related cognitive decline (ARCD). This study has two aims: (1) to evaluate IIV measures and their relationships with clinical features in healthy senior adults; (2) to compare the IIV between healthy adults and the ones with neurocognitive disorders (NCD).
