AbstractEthnopharmacological relevance: Meta-analysis (MA) on Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) trials is increasingly published and indexed in major international databases but their trustworthiness and clinical applicability is uncertain. We aimed to assess the characteristics and methodological quality of MA on CHM.
