AbstractOBJECTIVE: Our goal was to test the hypothesis that the addition of fetal electrocardiogram time-interval analysis to conventional electronic fetal monitoring would significantly reduce the number of cases requiring fetal scalp blood sampling without an increase in adverse outcome.
