AbstractGenes differentially expressed during TNF-alpha induced differentiation of WEHI 3B(JCS) cells were isolated by differential screening 8 out of 191 cDNA clones showed significant up regulation in hybridization signals in two rounds of screening DNA sequence analysis revealed that 2 clones matched perfectly with prostaglandin D synthetase. Two others aligned well with cystatin C and physophilin One clone showed 90% homology with rat calpain small subunit Two clones belonged to novel genes. One clone was a mixture of 3 gene fragments.
