AbstractAlthough the patterns of blemishes look random, the systematic and geometry dependent nature of the underlying distribution is still observable. This distribution is closely related to the geometric factors. In this paper, we discuss two significant geometric factors, namely surface exposure and curvature. The methods to determine these geometric information are discussed in detail. Three common surface imperfections, namely dust accumulation, patina and peeling, are modeled as examples. Promising images are generated as results.
