AbstractBackground and objectiveSmoking is a common risk factor for coronary artery disease (CAD) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We evaluated the prevalence of undiagnosed COPD in patients with CAD and assessed the relationship between airflow obstruction and markers of cardiac stress.
