AbstractOBJECTIVES: While promoter hypermethylation is a common molecular alteration of human colorectal cancer that could be detected in the bloodstream, we tested the feasibility of quantitative detection of aberrant DNA methylation in multiple genes in the serum samples of colorectal cancer patients.
