AbstractThis paper is concerned with the evaluation of a large project (e3Learning) for the design, development and evaluation of educational websites. In the period October 2002 - December 2003, 38 websites were produced. At this point, mid-way through the project, the team conducted a SWOT analysis as part of an evaluation of the whole project. The results, analysis and implications of eight SWOT reports are presented. This SWOT strategy has been valuable for the e3Learning project and other web development projects may also find it so.
