AbstractOBJECTIVES: Despite advances in endoscopic and pharmacological treatment for peptic ulcer bleeding (PUB), mortality remains at 5-10% worldwide. Our aim was to investigate the causes of death in a prospective cohort of PUB in a tertiary referral center.
