Other information
AbstractEnvironmental pollution includes any substance that may adversely impact our possessions or lives. It may be in the form of particulate solids, liquids, gases or vapors. Pollutants are created artificially by various industrial processes, accidents, and from some in-house activities and materials. But some arise from natural processes, some of which are sudden and dramatic, such as lightning, volcanoes and forest fires, whilst others derive from slow continuous processes such as the decay of animal and vegetable matter. Thus, the effects of pollution could cause harm or discomfort to humans or other living organisms, or damage the environment.
