Abstract广东西南部与越南环绕北部湾而立，海上联系有着长期历史渊源，海盗活动和商贸往来紧密相连。１９世纪起，西方殖民势力加强向东亚扩张，尤其是法国，逐步侵占中南半岛和中国西南省份，为中越关系带来了根本性的转变，并且对地方社会造成深刻影响。由此，中越海上联系在粤西南地区变得更加复杂，牵连国际局势和近代经济发展。本文所及地理范围主要是雷州半岛及其周边海域，梳理１９世纪至２０世纪初在法国殖民扩张纠缠之下，中越海上联系如何发生变化。
With an emphasis on Sino-Vietnamese maritime connections in the Gulf of Tonkin (Beibu Bay), this article explores how the French colonial expansion produced effects on southwestern China, especially Leizhou Penisula from the 19th century. Piracies, trading and colonial governance are analysed accordingly.
