Abstract

The Yinpan Site is situated 1Km northeast of the Yangpan city-site. There are more than 300 tombs in disorder and largely with diversiform-leaved poplar stakes on a surface. In date, the tombs can be inferred to the Wei-Jin period. The grave goods especially the garment products are reserved quite different in condition. As before this paper studying, no detail report was ever published about this pair of Linen shoes excavated on the site. According to this research, detail and close analysis are made for multi-layer braid construction, mineral coating method, and mineral damage mechanism. The three-color minerals including a layer of lacquer are faded and damaged in the very different way. An optimum display solution and restoration plan would be discussed after scientific analysis and demonstration.
